     As a Certified Counseling Clinical Hypnotherapist, Transpersonal Psychotherapist, Hypnotic-Coach, Grief Recovery Specialist, and Reiki Practitioner, Nanette Cheval CCHt considers herself to be a midwife of consciousness, teaching others to heal their lives by finding, bringing to life, and living their truth. She bases much of her work on teaching others the art of self-empowerment and the discovery of the amazing potential that exists within every human being. 
     Nanette received her degree and the credentials as a CCHt (Certified Counseling Clinical Hypnotherapist) in Transpersonal Hypnotherapy and Whole Health Hypnotherapy from the Colorado School of Counseling Hypnotherapy in 2004. With over 500 hours of education and intensive training, Nanette is a true expert in her field. She is certified through the American Council of Hypnotist Examiners (cert. #604-323) and the International Medical and Dental Hypnotherapy Association (cert. #0704-090161).
     She is a Grief Recovery Specialist, receiving her certification through The Grief Recovery® Institute. She has extensive hospice training and years of experience in the field. She received extensive training in Neuro-Linguistic Programming through NLP Comprehensive. She studied and received the honor of becoming an advanced level Reiki Practitioner in the Usui Shiki Ryo Ho Tradition, and utilizes the techniques to aid others in healing and improving the quality of their lives. Using an eclectic approach in her work, Nanette is able to address issues relating to the complete human being -- body, mind, spirit, and emotion.
     Nanette has studied under such renowned and internationally known teachers as hypnotherapist, teacher, and author, Zoilita Grant MS, CCHt,; the grief recovery expert, teacher and author, John James; and NLP Comprehensive founder, teacher and author, Steve Andreas.
     She is the mother of three --Jason, Molly and Hunter. Her background also includes years of being an avid animal lover and owner of horses. She has worked with children, teenagers and adults struggling with various mental and physical challenges using horses as part of the therapeutic process.  She is a true believer in the use of horses as an instrument of healing, and for the development of mental, spiritual and physical health. She is a member of the North American Riding for the Handicap Association (NARHA) and the Equine Assisted Growth and Learning Association (EAGALA.) She has worked as an avid volunteer for programs such as the National Sports Center for the Disabled (NSCD), Colorado Therapeutic Riding Center (CTRC) and Big View Therapy Ranch.
     Nanette’s early life included years of extensive acting and voiceover training. She had the opportunity to participate in television, commercial, and stage performances. Her lifelong love of the performing arts and her expertise in hypnosis work has led her to offer an unique approach for creativity, acting and character development.
     Nanette has a strong business and marketing background. Before beginning a career in the healing arts, she spent years in the corporate world as a successful business owner. She chose a new career in the healing arts after experiencing a series of painful losses. During these difficult times, she was led to participate in the grief and healing work that she offers today, and experienced first-hand the amazing transformation that occurred in her life. Through her first-hand experiences, and being a witness to the growth and healing of others, she is passionate about the work she offers.
     Nanette believes there is a tremendous amount of potential in every human being, and there are countless possibilities that exist for those who learn to tap into and utilize their own personal power and potential.
     She is a member of the Colorado Association of Psychotherapists (CAP), the International Medical and Dental Hypnotherapy Association (IMDHA), the American Council of Hypnotist Examiners (ACHE), the Association for Transpersonal Psychology and Hypnotherapy (ATPH), the North American Riding for the Handicap Association (NARHA), and the Equine Assisted Growth and Learning Association (EAGALA).  Her practice is registered with the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agency (DORA).
     Nanette Cheval CCHt, offers individual and group sessions, workshops, telephone sessions and is available for public speaking engagements.
